The building itself is pretty cool. It looks like it used to be an old mercantile store which they've done a good job of converting into a family friendly restaurant complete with authentic Bavarian style groups seating at large tables.
I grew up in Germany and this place does an almost perfect weinersnitchel with spaetzle and red cabbage. They also have several German beers on tap.
We went Wednesday evening for dinner & to listen to original songs written by musicians. The food was good, beer was cold and a friendly atmosphere. We had out of state company & couldn't have had a better time.
Service and food we're great. Very filling. Kind of sad about the very filling part because I really wanted to try more.
their red cabbage is the best around and their pork wings were mouth watering good and tender. In fact they fell off the bone. All the other food was just as good and we had great food, great service and a nice relaxing evening. Highly recommend.
Nothing here really worth bragging about. We we to the fest last night and sat outside.if you are going to have that big of a crowd then you need to spend a little more money and enlarge your kitchen. The food is too over rated and over priced. The food not quite the quality of a TV dinner from HEB. The sausage is another story, you can get better at 7-11 and it comes with bread!! After spending seven years in Germany this stuff we had last was a poor excuse! We will continue to search for a good German restaurant.
